AUDUBON GEARING UP FOR SNOWFLAKE FESTIVAL 2012
Jamestown, NY – On Saturday, February 4, 2012, the Audubon Center and Sanctuary will host the Snowflake Festival. What could be more delightful on a crisp winter day than a horse drawn sleigh ride! That is just one of many fun and educational activities you will experience at this popular event. A wealth of activities and demonstrations will be held both indoors and out.
With something for all ages, this is an event you do not want to miss. If you are interested in participating in, sponsoring, or volunteering for this event, please contact Lynn Crossfield, Event Coordinator, at email@example.com or 716-569-2345. We are especially interested in vendors who fit our mission to connect people with nature and to promote environmentally responsible practices through education at its Center, Sanctuary, and in the community.
The Audubon Center and Sanctuary is at 1600 Riverside Road, off Route 62 between Jamestown and Warren. Winter hours are 10 am-4:30 pm Mondays and Saturdays, and 1-4:30 pm Sundays. The trails and Bald Eagle viewing are open dawn to dusk daily. For more information, call (716) 569-2345 or visit jamestownaudubon.org.
